About Feed Wexford
Feed Wexford, spearheaded by Susan Wright & Karen O’Reilly, is dedicated to tackling food poverty in our community. Situated in Wexford, Ireland, we recognise the urgent necessity of confronting this escalating problem. Recent studies from the Department of Social Protection have exposed that 10% of the Irish population is confronted with food poverty, and regrettably, Wexford is not exempt from this reality.

Our Mission
Our mission at Feed Wexford is clear: to provide vital support to individuals and families facing food insecurity. We recognise the challenges that many in our community face when it comes to accessing nutritious food. Through strategic partnerships with local agencies and businesses, we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
How We Help
Feed Wexford operates by offering food boxes filled with a three-day supply of nutritious essentials to individuals and families experiencing food poverty. These boxes are carefully curated to ensure that recipients have access to wholesome meals. By alleviating the immediate burden of food insecurity, we aim to empower individuals and families to focus on other pressing needs without sacrificing their nutritional well-being.
Making an Impact
Our work at Feed Wexford is not just about providing sustenance; it’s about transforming lives. We understand that food insecurity can perpetuate cycles of poverty and hardship. By offering a helping hand during difficult times, we strive to break these cycles and foster a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Through our efforts, we aim to instill hope, dignity, and resilience in those we serve.
Get Involved
You can join us in our mission to combat food poverty in Wexford. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can create a community where no one has to go to bed hungry.
